My Pursuit For A Weight Loss Solution that Works

My Personal Review

My initial reaction to the Every Other Day Diet included doubt and curiosity. I admit, after the numerous traditional diet solutions and weight loss programs that I have dragged my body through, I was basically resigned to being overweight the rest of my life.

Until I Found Every Other Day Diet

There was still something in me that wanted to drop the pounds, however, so I researched the Every Other Day Diet by Jon Benson. The doubt slowly changed over to sheer curiosity as I continued my venture in yet another weight loss researching endeavor. The more I read, the more I wanted to try it. Who doesn’t want to eat the foods that they love when they are dieting?

Not Your Ordinary…

This is not your ordinary Every Other Day Diet review. This is my own experience with the program. This is not your ordinary weight loss program, either. The Every Other Day Diet allows you to-you guessed it!-diet on every other day.

I think the every other day concept was exactly what caused both the doubt and the curiosity. I doubted it for obvious reasons: how can you lose weight by only dieting every other day? Just one day off of my diets in the past put me right back where I started from, so how was this program going to be any different? How exactly am I going to lose weight if I am pigging out on the foods that I love every other day?

These questions burned in my mind, so I made it a personal goal to investigate every aspect of this program before I tried it. The whole concept of the diet did not make sense to me until I dug further into the scientific thought process of the Every Other Day Diet, otherwise known as EODD.

The Concept

The whole diet plan revolves around the concept of caloric cycling. In order to lose weight, you need to decrease the intake of calories, but if you do this too quickly, your body will in turn slow down its metabolic rate. This will hinder your ability to drop those extra pounds. It’s the “Catch 22” of losing weight. This is why most diet programs do not work.

Deception is the key in the case of Every Other Day Diet. You have to deceive your body; make it think that you are not restricting the calories, while you, in fact, are putting a limit on them.

You eat more calories than your body actually needs one day and then you limit your calories to less than it needs for a day. At the end of the week, you will end up with what is referred to as a caloric deficit. By cycling calories this way, your body will never get the chance to slow down its metabolic rate, because it thinks it is getting the calories that it needs.

The weight can start to come off without the lower metabolism, making it easier for you to maintain the diet as well as the weight loss. If you are anything like me, you have seen your metabolism go up and down like a rollercoaster. This is the body’s way of attempting to adapt to the diet programs. Now, it can stay at a steady pace, allowing the pounds to melt off at a more natural pace.

How Do I Know EODD Works?

Before I even go into how EODD has transformed my life, I want to tell you about Jon Benson. Today, he is a fitness professional, an author and a life coach, but not so long ago, he had a terrible struggle with weight, too. As a matter of fact, he was so overweight, he feared for his life.

Through his own struggles and success, he has managed to come up with a number of different fitness programs that he shares with the world, including EODD in the popular line up.

A graduate of MIT, Los Angeles and Abilene Christian University, with degrees in Philosophical Studies and Human Communications, Jon Benson is definitely one smart guy. He studied at Cooper Clinic in Dallas-naturally, the area of study was nutrition, and is now working toward completing a M.Sc. in Nutritional Science.

The fact that Jon Benson was highly educated was not the reason I thought he had all the answers. The fact that he went from extremely obese to having a nicely sculpted body was probably the biggest reason I began to really believe in his program. He went through worse struggles with weight than I had, studied at top, well-known schools and now has his extreme weight loss to show for it.

The ultimate reason that I am writing this Every Other Day Diet Review is: I was able to trick my own body into losing the weight, too. I won the weight loss struggle, just like Jon Benson, and I am posting this review for my family and friends to read, as well as people like you that want to find the solution to their battle with weight.

I Highly Recommend the Every Other Day Diet

You will have to exercise. I will be honest when I say that I did not like that part, but the truth is: the human body craves exercise. Basically, the exercise that is required is simple cardio. The dieting days are the best days, according to Jon Benson, to do the cardio. Running or jogging is recommended, but anything cardio will do, and the requirements are not that bad. If I could force myself to do the exercising, anyone can do it.

The bottom line of my Every Other Day Diet review is this: if you must eat your favorite foods and you really hate to exercise, but you want to lose weight, you need to turn to Every Other Day Diet by Jon Benson. The concepts in the program are scientifically proven and will assist you in dropping those pounds in an almost non-diet method of dieting. It’s about time someone came up with a program like this!

My metabolism has always been hard to figure out. I was so tired of the lose-weigh-gain-weight routine. It wasn’t until I read your review about the EODD that I understood why I was having such a hard time with losing weight. Thanks for shedding some light on my weight situation. By the way, I have managed to keep 12 pounds completely off so far, and I’m still maintaining the diet.

Oh my gosh, thank you for the review… I need to only lose 8 kgs in a short amount of time and this sounds perfect. I tried the Dukan diet and only lasted about 3 days on it before I couldn’t do anymore. I love junk food so this will work well and I’ll be able to stick to it! So it’s something like 400 calories on diet days and normal amount of calories on non-diet days? Please help here. Thank you!
